Overlooking the world-class Moon Mountain Winery, Moon Mountain Retreat is centrally located near 40 major wineries in the Sonoma Valley, and is yet conveniently just minutes from the town of Sonoma. There are so many wonderful things to do in the wine country it's difficult to begin: swimming in the pool, wine tasting, sight seeing, shopping in the beautiful Sonoma Square, and restaurants abound - from 5 star cuisine to local burger joints. The Sonoma Mission Inn's world famous spa is at the bottom of our hill, and the Sonoma Golf & Country Club golf course can be seen from the property's beautiful vistas. Jack London State Park is located just up the road in beautiful Glen Ellen, one of most desirable places to visit on the planet.

The Main House consists of over 3,000 sq. ft. of luxurious appointments and casual elegance. The first floor contains two bedrooms, one bath, a media room (large screen TV), and a large "great room" that holds a combined living/dining room and kitchen. The top story has four bedrooms and two baths. In total, there are eight beds: one California king, four queen beds, two twin beds, and one full bed. There are two pull-out sofa beds, with attached top air mattresses for extra comfort.

The Sunset Suite

Wake up and watch the fog dissipate over the western Sonoma Valley. Look down and see the grapes gradually appear while you sip your morning coffee. Red-tail hawks circle beneath you as you shower in a beautiful marble bathroom 1000 feet above town. "Art show or winetasting?" are all the stressfull decisions for today...oh "OK, both - after I read the paper..."

• No pets.
• Pool Heating
  Due to warm summer temperatures, the pool is not heated June-September. During May and October, the pool will normally be heated, with an additional $250 fee unless no pool heating is requested. The pool will not normally be heated November-April, unless requested. A $400 fee (plus an additional $30 per extra day) will be charged to heat the pool during that time period.
